Adding future texts responsibly
When adding Septuagint, Peshitta, deuterocanonical, Ethiopic, manuscript, Dead Sea Scroll, or early-Christian materials, label each item with the textual tradition, language, date or period, edition or translation, and copyright status. A text included in another canon or tradition is not necessarily a “missing chapter”; a variant reading is not necessarily an alteration. The library should help readers see the evidence, categories, and uncertainty clearly.
Before uploading commercial translations, manuscript scans, or modern scholarly editions, obtain written permission or confirm that the intended use falls within the applicable licence.
